Learning information is taonga
All information about a learner belongs to the learner, not a kura or school, and a copy of it can be requested by them, or their parents, at any time.
It's the responsibility of the kura or school to keep it up to date, safe and secure, and Te Rito has processes in place to protect it too. If it’s incorrect, parents can request their kura or school to have it updated.
For more on Te Rito's protection of information, see Security and Privacy.
