A reminder for schools to connect to Te Rito has today been published on the Ministry’s website. The item covers requirements for schools for Term 4 2026.

You might have read about Te Rito in the latest issue of Education Gazette.

From 6 July, SMS provider Hero will commence connecting schools to Te Rito that have signed up.

You can continue to use your Hero SMS during this time.

We’re pleased to announce SMS vendor Hero is now connected to Te Rito.

Te Rito was pleased to headline at this year’s Specialist Education Principal’s Association (SEPANZ) conference in Waitangi, sharing the benefits of connecting.

Te Rito is a secure, cloud-based platform connecting SMS, Ministry and other systems to a digital record for every student.
